Counsellor & Psychotherapist, West Didsbury, Manchester
If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, stress or relationship difficulties, I can provide a safe, confidential space to help you.
Get in touchI am a warm and empathic therapist. I provide a safe and confidential space for you to explore any issues you are facing in your life.
Making the decision to see a therapist can feel daunting. My person-centred approach means that I work with you as an individual and will accept and respect whatever you bring to therapy and work with you in a non-judgemental way.
I am a fully qualified, BACP-registered counsellor and psychotherapist. I have experience working in charitable settings, NHS talking therapies and in private practice.
I work with clients from a range of age groups and backgrounds and working with issues including self-esteem, depression, anxiety, stress, abuse, relationship difficulties, grief, loss and trauma.
Speaking to a therapist is different to speaking to friends or family. I will listen to you attentively and help you to hear and notice things about yourself which may have been on the edge of your awareness.
The therapeutic process can help you to develop coping strategies and a greater understanding of self that can ultimately lead to growth and change in your life.
You can choose to meet face-to-face at my counselling room in West Didsbury, or you can opt for online sessions for your convenience.
One of the most important aspects of therapy is finding the right therapist for you. If you are interested in starting therapy with me, then do get in touch and we can organise a brief telephone or video conversation to explore what is bringing you to therapy and to decide whether we would like to work together.
